Which make-up brush do you need and how do you use them?

Rozemarijn Naturalcare

Makeup brushes can make the difference between a professional-looking finish and one that isn't. But with so many different brushes, it's hard to know which ones you actually need. In this blog, we explain what types of brushes there are, what you use them for, and how to keep them clean. Kabuki brush — for an even foundation The kabuki brush is a short, dense brush with soft bristles. It's perfect for applying mineral foundation and powders. The dense bristle bundle ensures even coverage. Lightly dip the brush into the powder, tap off the excess, and apply it to the face in small circular motions. At Mineralissima, we have two versions: the Kabuki Brush for light application and the Perfect Coverage Kabuki Brush for more coverage. Fluffy powder brush — for finishing powders The fluffy powder brush has long, soft bristles and is ideal for lightly applying finishing powders. The large, airy bundle distributes the powder evenly over the face without looking too heavy. Angled bronzer and contour brush — for bronzer and contouring The angled shape of this brush is specially designed to apply bronzer precisely to the right areas: the cheekbones, temples, and sides of the nose. Fluffy blending brush — for eyeshadow The fluffy blending brush is indispensable for blending eyeshadow. Use it in a soft, sweeping motion over the crease to soften harsh lines. Small eyeshadow brush — for precision With the small eyeshadow brush, you can apply eyeshadow exactly where you want it. Perfect for applying a dark color in the crease or a light highlight on the brow bone. Flat concealer and foundation brush — for liquid products The flat brush is ideal for applying liquid foundation and concealer. Dab and smooth the product evenly for a smooth, even finish. Angled concealer brush — for precise coverage The angled concealer brush is perfect for applying concealer under the eyes or to small imperfections. Eyebrow brush — for defined brows The eyebrow brush has a firm, angled bristle bundle that is perfect for applying eyebrow powder. How to clean brushes? Rinse the bristles under lukewarm water — keep the bristle bundle facing downwards Massage a small amount of mild soap through the bristles Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear Pat dry with a towel and let the brushes air dry flat Which brush suits you?
