For foundation, we exclusively choose brands specifically developed for sensitive skin — naturally pure, without unnecessary additives.

Which foundation is suitable for sensitive skin?

For sensitive skin, these are the most important considerations:

• No perfume or artificial colorants — common triggers for irritation
• Mineral or dermacosmetic formulas — gentler on the skin, also suitable for rosacea, eczema, or couperose
• Light to medium coverage — allows the skin to breathe
• Nourishing ingredients — such as hyaluronic acid or botanical oils

We offer two brands that are fully aligned with these criteria for foundation: Mineralissima and DADO SENS.

Mineralissima — three types of foundation

Mineralissima is 100% mineral, free from perfume, parabens, and preservatives. The formulas apply gently to the skin and provide a natural result. Suitable for daily use, even for sensitive skin types.

Loose powder foundation

The classic loose mineral powder. Lightweight, breathable, and easily buildable from light to full coverage. Ideal for a natural finish on normal or combination skin.

DADO SENS — dermacosmetic foundation

DADO SENS is a German dermacosmetic brand, specially developed for hypersensitive and problematic skin. The foundations are clinically tested and contain nourishing ingredients.

Liquid foundation in a bottle, specially for sensitive skin types, including those with rosacea and couperose.

Hyaluron Make-Up

Which foundation is suitable for dry skin?

• DADO SENS Hyaluron Make-Up — contains hyaluronic acid that moisturizes and retains moisture in the skin.
• Mineralissima liquid foundation — enriched with antioxidants and hydrating ingredients.

For dry skin, avoid loose powders as your only coverage. Use a good moisturizer as a base before applying foundation.

What is the difference between mineral and regular foundation?

Mineral foundation consists of natural minerals such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide — no perfume, no preservatives, no alcohol. The formula is breathable and applies lightly to the skin. Regular foundation often contains synthetic substances that can irritate the skin. Zinc oxide is known for its soothing effect on the skin, which can be beneficial for rosacea or couperose.

Mineral foundation is well tolerated by many people with rosacea. If in doubt, we recommend trying a tester first or making an appointment in advance for personal advice.

Can I use DADO SENS foundation if I have eczema?

DADO SENS is specially developed for hypersensitive skin and is clinically tested. For active eczema, we recommend consulting your dermatologist first.

What is the difference between Mineralissima and DADO SENS?

Mineralissima offers mineral foundation in three types: loose powder, 2-in-1 compact, and liquid — in multiple shades. DADO SENS is a liquid dermacosmetic foundation, available in Hypersensitive Make-Up (4 shades) and Hyaluron Make-Up (2 shades).
